Now that you’ve submitted your intake assessment, you’ll soon be meeting your doctor for your first video visit. Your Salvo Health provider is an expertly trained gut health doctor passionate about helping you put your symptoms in the rearview.
During your visit: Your doctor will provide you with an overview of your personalized treatment plan based on the medical history and information you’ve provided in your intake questionnaire. You'll also have the opportunity to get your most burning questions answered 1:1.
After your visit: Your provider will share diagnostic testing and any prescription or supplement recommendations that might help with immediate symptom relief.
Your Care Team
In addition to your gut-focused physician, your Care Team also includes a licensed practical nurse or Care Navigator, who is there to not only help with questions about your Salvo Health membership but also help you apply your doctor’s recommendations to your daily life to get you closer to gut relief that lasts.
Our in-app Chat feature allows your dedicated Care Team to regularly check in with you - which is crucial when treating a chronic gut condition like yours. And remember, this communication goes both ways! You can reach out to your Care Team M-F, 10 AM-6 PM EST. If you do find yourself in a bit of a pickle, your Salvo Health membership provides you with an on-call weekend care team that will be available to provide you with the support you need. So whenever you message us, we’re here for you!
In the App: Gut Check
Once you get set up in the Salvo Health app, you’ll be prompted to complete your first Gut Check. This daily survey will become your personal tool to log both good and bad days so that your Care Team can continuously personalize your Care Plan to not only help create a routine that works for you but also helps you better understand your progress.
